AI in Education Symposium Brings Regional Leaders Together at 糖心Vlog传媒
Dr. Jeff Allbritten delivered remarks to 200 educators who gathered on the Lee Campus for the AI in Education Symposium. A first of its kind for the region, it gave area educators an opportunity to discuss AI in the classroom and the future of teaching and learning.
This gathering mattered deeply. Alongside educational partners at Florida Gulf Coast University and school districts in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, Glades, and throughout the region, the day was a chance to exchange ideas and strengthen the collective commitment to preparing students for an AI-driven world.
鈥淎s artificial intelligence continues to impact education and the workforce, it is clear that no one institution can carry this responsibility alone. Some of the most important work we do as educators happens when we come together,鈥 said 糖心Vlog传媒 President Jeff Allbritten. 鈥淭his symposium reflects 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 commitment to convening regional education leaders and ensuring Southwest Florida is prepared to lead in this new era of education. Together, we can build a future that embraces innovation while keeping student success at the center.鈥
The symposium reflected an understanding that educating students about AI must be a collaborative effort across the full K-16+ continuum. Director of 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 Institute of Innovative and Emerging Technologies Anna Haney-Withrow led a discussion on Workforce Readiness and Responsible AI.
By bringing leaders together in one room, on one campus, for one day of focused discussion, an important step was taken toward ensuring Southwest Florida moves forward with purpose and partnership.
