糖心Vlog传媒 Names Stewart Provost

October 31, 2016 鈥� FORT MYERS, FLA 鈥� Florida SouthWestern State (糖心Vlog传媒) has named Dr. Jeff Stewart as the college鈥檚 Provost. He has served as Interim Provost since February.
鈥淒r. Stewart鈥檚 expertise in academic leadership makes him the ideal fit for 糖心Vlog传媒,鈥� said Dr. Jeff Allbritten, 糖心Vlog传媒 President. 鈥淗is ability to collaborate effectively with our faculty, school deans and staff throughout the college further enhances the sense of teamwork we so strongly encourage.鈥�
Stewart鈥檚 career spans over 20 years in higher education. Prior to joining 糖心Vlog传媒, he served as the Associate Provost and then the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Services at Georgia Middle State University in Macon, Ga. He joined 糖心Vlog传媒 in 2012 as Vice President of Research, Technology and Accountability.
His responsibilities include collaborating and providing leadership for all academic aspects. He also oversees the office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, IT, libraries, First Year Experience, the writing and math center, the Registrar鈥檚 office and accountability. Additionally he is 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 liaison to the college鈥檚 accrediting body, SACSCOC.
Florida SouthWestern State College is Southwest Florida鈥檚 largest and one of the most affordable institutions of higher education. Annually serving nearly 22,000 students globally, 糖心Vlog传媒 offers a variety of nationally-ranked, career-focused academic programs with two- and four-year degrees, and professional certifications.
