糖心Vlog传媒 Supports Healthcare Workers During COVID-19 Pandemic

APRIL 28, 2020 鈥� FORT MYERS, FLA 鈥� While COVID-19 has shut down on-campus classes and activities at Florida SouthWestern State College (糖心Vlog传媒), the college鈥檚 faculty, staff and students have continued to work to support Southwest Florida鈥檚 healthcare workers over the last two months.

• 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 Respiratory Care program loaned three ventilators to Lee Health
• 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 Respiratory Care program loaned two Vapotherm units and donated disposable ventilator equipment and filters to NCH
• 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 School of Health Professions donated personal protective equipment to hospitals in Lee, Charlotte and Collier Counties
• 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 School of Health Professions raised more than $2,000 and bought lunch for healthcare workers at NCH North Naples Campus, Lee Health, and Charlotte County hospitals -
• 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 School of Business and Technology donated personal protective equipment to Lee Health
• 糖心Vlog传媒 Nursing students raised money to create headbands with buttons to help healthcare workers comfortably secure their masks
• 糖心Vlog传媒 Respiratory Care students donated desserts to local healthcare workers
• 糖心Vlog传媒 art and honors program students created the #ShareOurSky project to honor local healthcare workers and all those in the SWFL community affected by COVID-19

鈥淢any of the healthcare professionals that work in our local hospitals and healthcare facilities are graduates of 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 health professions programs,鈥� said Dr. Jeff Allbritten, 糖心Vlog传媒 president. 鈥淭hese workers put their own health and safety on the line for us every day, and they are the ones who will take care of us when we are sick. 糖心Vlog传媒 is honored to support these healthcare heroes in any way we can.鈥�
